A Little Bit Country...

Mr. Whirlwind

After taking many blurred photographs and chasing him all over the park, Mr. "H" finally had to stop and catch his breath. How great it was to capture the innocence under all that energy! And how great it was to be reminded just how fun it is to be a kid...

"I'm Finally Home"

These were some of the first words out of the Sergeant's mouth. As we walked through the airport it was amazing the gratitude that others were showing. They would stop the Sergeant to shake his hand, and to thank him for serving and protecting. I still have chills when I think back to the hand shakes. Such anticipation waiting for him. I can only imagine what his wife, Angela, must have been thinking and feeling. It was a short session, but one who's memory will last a lifetime. And then they were off to surprise their kids with the homecoming of their daddy....

Bellies in Blossom!

Pink, pink, pink! That was the theme for this session & it was a blast! Ashley is due to have Miss "T" any day now and wanted to capture her beautiful belly before her arrival. Ashley is so photogenic, my eyes grew bigger and bigger with each picture I looked at. We caught so many great shots, I'm so glad she will have them to remember this special time!

I think Miss "S" helped me to lose some of my holiday weight on this outing! She missed her nap in order to get to the Museum of the Southwest when it opened. And she was not going to let me take her picture without a chase! But thank you for being such a trooper for me!

Starting off the New Year!

And what better way to start it off than with some new shots? This is Princess. Pure and simple. She is everything the word stands for. A little sugar, a little spice, everything a little girl should be! She is the only one in our household right now who isn't sick, so I took her out today for a breath of fresh air. And look at that missing tooth!!!
